SAP BUSINESS ONE is a comprehensive business and technological platform allowing convenience and accuracy in business process management along with advanced control and monitoring capabilities used by the information systems of the organization.
The flexible architecture of the system assists many organizations to incorporate the solution into their IT environment, whether by installing it on Pc’s and mobile computers, using Terminal Server or Citrix, applications for smart phones/tablets, On Demand cloud access or by On Premise installation in both physical and virtual environments.
Users enjoy built-in connectivity to Outlook and Office environments as well as a browser, drag queries, and the use of query generator and Crystal report generator also supplied with the system. Integration capabilities enable to create online or batch interfaces to share information with various systems within the organization, automatic interfacing with clients and suppliers such as Storenext, Segment, Nipendo, connectivity to social networks, multi-company inter-organizational connectivity, connectivity between branches and parent companies etc. B1i integration platform interfaces with SAP NetWeaver integration platform.
The system provides business and technical control and monitor tools, alerts to users, configuration control, template creation and packaging for the purpose of rapid setting up of fellow subsidiaries/subsidiaries in the organization, control tools of the database and server that are configurable according to the way of using the system, and Remote Support Platform (RSP) for assimilating software updates, back-ups and periodical tests of the server and its environment.
The system provides business intelligence services using SAAS model, Business Objects tools for creating and analyzing reports, and OLAP multi-dimensional analysis capabilities making use of B1Analytics platform in Linux environment.
The application tools array is especially wide and includes a built-in capability to import-export data from Excel files, an ability to add fields and tables into the database, an automatic fill-in of fields with values according to business rules, building queries, reports and dashboards.
The API included in the system enables development and customization of screens, adding business objects, and implementing business logics according to the client’s needs. The API is COM-technology based and allows development in Java, C++, C# and Visual Basic. Using API enables slight upgrades made from time to time when advanced versions are distributed according to the product’s version roadmap in Israel and in the world.
